The spring sky of Jesolo Lido comes alive with the BEACH & KITE FESTIVAL 2024, an event that adds colour and vibrancy to the city on the Venetian coast. From April 5th to 7th, the 3rd edition of this international kite festival will take place!

Three days of festivities welcome over 200 kite flyers from around the world each year, making it the largest kite-flying celebration in Italy. The festival stretches for a kilometre and a half along the coastline of Jesolo, between Piazza Marconi and Piazza Brescia, offering breathtaking aerial displays, kite-building workshops, and much more.

The Kite Festival in Jesolo – Programme Highlights

This year, the Beach & Kite Festival offers an exclusive historical exhibition curated by the guest of honour Andrea Casalboni. The exhibition traces the use of kites in atmospheric exploration from 1850 to 1950, featuring faithful reproductions and original documents.

Immerse yourself in a variety of activities, from free kite flights to aerial acrobatics. Enjoy complimentary kite-building workshops suitable for all ages and witness or join in rokkaku kite battles.

But wait, there is more! Experience the inauguration of the wind gardens or marvel at giant three-dimensional static kites in the central arena of Jesolo Beach & Kite Festival.

On Saturday, April 6th, the festival sparkles with a night kite flight, a unique fusion of art, history, and technology in a family-friendly setting.
